ManBears Events Thursday 3rd of May: The Bear Baseat The Outpost is open for the weekend. Happy hour prices till 7 every day. A great place to meet up with mates and get social! EARLY BIRD Welcome party and registration pick-up. 7pm till late Venue: AXM Canal Street (just up from The Rembrandt). The Bear Buddies will be there with a welcome drink to get the party started for those guys who have arrived early. You can pick up your registration pack at AXM till about 12pm. Make sure you check out the drinks deals that AXM will be offering the Bears over the weekend. Take advantage of them if you’re out on Canal Street during the day and early evening and want a drink at a decent price. Friday the 4th May: Registration continues at The Hotel International 3pm till 12 midnight:, Next to The Outpost and Legends on Whitworth Street. The Bear Buddies will be around to help ease the way. As will the happy hour drinks prices in The Outpost. BEAR ART SHOW The art show will take place over the weekend with art by and for bears exhibited in the registration area at the Hotel International and in the Hotel Bar. Make sure you take a look. It’ll be open from Friday at 3pm onwards. There’s some talented bears out there! BEAR WORDS We’ll also have proudWORDS from Newcastle helping you literary bears explore the written word. LOL) Funbears fete (Free Entry): At the rear of Legends. Following on from the success of last years Funbears there will be more of the same mix of Fun games, Food. Drink and Fundraising. You can race pigs, Penetrate Queens, toss a ball or two and maybe show your skill at driving and more. There will also be Bear Market stalls. Pool Party 7pm till 8.30 pm @ The Manchester Aquatic Centre. This is strictly ticket only and numbers will be limited. Tickets will be on sale at registration £5.
