MANBEARS

The definition of a ‘bear’ means different things to different people and with many interpretations.

At Manbears we don't want to limit the concept of bear culture or community to that defined by physical shape, but rather to embrace the notion of an inclusive evolving community of like minded gay men coming together to be themselves regardless of body shape, age or sexual activity.

Manbears is a non-profit organisation committed to actively promoting this ethos, by organising inclusive events, such as the Great British Bear Bash and monthly bear nights, by promoting non bar related social events, such as ten pin bowling, film nights etc and by supporting the development of emerging ‘community’ initiatives.
